Music has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Chances are if you see me out walking with an MP3 player or cruising in the car you’ll find me listening to everything from folk and jazz to melodic hard and progressive rock. But performing gives me the most musical pleasure.

I’ve played drums for more than 30 years. Like most other young percussionists I started taking piano lessons for a few years and then progressed to playing snare drum in elementary school. Since then I’ve learned to play other percussion instruments and have since performed with musical ensembles around the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Most recently I’ve been a member of my own band The Bliss, the Manna Band the Brookings Area Community Band, and SDSU CommUniversity Band and Civic Orchestra.
